The drills used by nail techs in salons often file the nail too thin, making it prone to hurting and breaking easily. These drills cause ridges to form in the beds of your nails--something that can cause your nail bed to become red and irritated, and often times infected (if you're brave, you can see the effects of a drill gone wrong here). These complications are difficult to correct and extremely painful! Not to mention many of the non-traditional chemicals and products some salons utilize, either because they are less expensive or because they will break sooner so that clients will return sooner and spend more money. 

 At Di's Nail Designs, you will never see a drill. Di has spent the better part of twenty years perfecting the art of filing nails by hand. When done with an emery board, the nail remains smooth, clean, and much less of it is filed away, leaving your hands in perfect health and your nails intact. Di uses only the best and cleanest products on the market, favoring quality acrylic over any cheap or easy fix. She pays specific attention to the shape and thickness of every individual client's nails and forms that client's nails uniquely--so your nails will be flawless and comfortable every time, and no two girls will have the same set! When the nails are done with smoother and higher-quality product over a longer period of time, they last much longer and are far less likely to break.
